On October 13, 2009, Pelita Harapan Foundation launched a new school institution name UPH College, which is the first senior high school in Indonesia making their student able to shorten their study in university by taking the university courses while they are still study at senior high school.
This is a new breakthrough in Indonesian education system which students at senior high school of UPH College can take courses of the University of Pelita Harapan (UPH).
The program will make the students of UPH College to continue their study in University of Pelita Harapan (UPH) with shorter time, namely only 2.5 years than normally about 4 years for undergraduate degree.
